Front TAROX Brake Rotors – BMW M8 4.4 Twin turbo

This is a manufactured to order product.
These rotors are direct replacements for the OE brake rotors and will fit straight to your vehicle without any further modifications required. You will receive a pair of handed rotors with specific cooling features for the left and right side of the axle. The full specification and rotor configuration for this particular application can be found in the 'ADDITIONAL INFORMATION' tab. All TAROX 'Bespoke' rotors are made to order at our facility in Italy and are available with the following facings:

* Additional anti-rust treatment may increase delivery time. This cataphoretic coating is a highly durable treatment which protects all non swept areas of the steel rotor including the internal veins. It is recommended for road users and low mileage/show cars.

The 'Bespoke' way...
These rotor assemblies are part of our special 'Bespoke' range which we have compiled to provide a performance solution for vehicles for which parts aren't easily obtainable. Vehicles such as classic sports marques or modern high performance cars whose drivers seek higher levels of performance from their brake setup. All rotors in the 'Bespoke' range are individually CNC machined from a solid piece of steel billet - they are never made in a cast. Once the billet has been machined to the required size it is heat treated and then cooled to unify the structure of the steel and improve strength and durability. This keeps the rotor more stable at extreme temperatures. Characteristics such as warping, cracking, fade and knock off are all massively reduced. The longevity of the rotor and pad are both extended dramatically. The toughened steel is then drilled and/or slotted as required and finally finished by hand. Each rotor is manually ground to a tolerance approaching 0.015mm creating a perfectly level surface to ensure that the rotor will run true. In the case of a two-piece assembly, the billet rotor is then mated to a CNC machined alloy hat which has been hard anodized for protection from the elements.
The Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS) for these rotors is rated at 57kg per square mm. To put this figure into perspective, the standard for racing spec discs is usually 38kg per square mm and the CEE standard UTS is 25kg per square mm.

IN STOCK ITEMS
Orders are shipped via USPS or FedEx when shipped from existing US based inventory locations. We aim for same day or next day dispatch, and given this, depending on your exact time of order, and location, we ask that customers allow up to 5 working days for delivery.
If there should be a problem with your order/shipping and it seems likely your order will take longer than 5 days, then we will inform you by email or phone. Deliveries may require a signature so if possible please give a delivery address where the order can be signed for during working hours.
NON-STOCK & MTO ITEMS
Due to our vast catalog it will often be necessary to ship your special order items from TAROX Italy (via TNT, delivered by FedEx) or from TAROX UK. Items shipped from Italian or UK inventory typically take 5 to 10 working days to be delivered. On occasion, there may be zero inventory of an item at any of our international locations. If this should be the case then we will inform you by email/phone as soon as we find out.
Brake kits and Bespoke rotors are always manufactured to order (MTO). We kindly ask that you allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery.
CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTY
All orders shipping from International stock locations are intended to be delivered duty paid, i.e. you should not have to pay any import costs of any kind to either FedEx or CBP. Unfortunately, due to the number of agencies involved, on occasion you may be sent an invoice for customs charges. Please do NOT pay this and request a refund for these charges, we will not be able to refund you, merely issue a future credit note to that value. We must insist that you forward the incorrect paperwork to us, and we will take care of of the invoice ourselves.
