TAROX Rear Brake System With Electronic Handbrake
A superior brake system that utilises race proven technology and materials which integrates perfectly with the vehicles existing parking brake.
Engineered to give improved performance and longevity without sacrificing pedal feel or drivability while maintaining the factory fitted electronic handbrake system.
The TAROX rear brake system features a specially designed caliper and a vehicle specific adapter that allows the integration of the existing handbrake motor. Use of the existing motor negates the need for any complicated wiring modification or software module coding. Drivers can enjoy increased braking performance from the 4-pot caliper, alongside the convenience and reliability of the OE parking brake system. Modern driving aids such as Auto Hold, and Hill Assist are all unaffected by the installation of the TAROX rear brake system.
Calipers
This kit features the TAROX E34-4 caliper which is CNC machined from the highest quality billet alloy and each unit is built and tested by hand at our Italian factory. The two piece design is held together with multiple high tensile steel bolts proven to provide a stiffer overall chassis then mono block calipers. This stiffness translates to a more responsive pedal even with increased levels of braking force. The anodized billet pistons feature internal seals reducing the risk of scorching, eliminating weathering and negating the need for routine servicing.
A vehicle specific adaptor is pre-installed to the caliper, allowing fitment of the vehicles existing electronic motor with ease. No wiring, no coding, no warning lights.*
Calipers can be specified with our standard hard anodized black finish (450 wickers) or from a choice of anodized colors. We currently offer our calipers in black, red, blue, green and gold; all with a beautiful satin finish.
Discs
Accompanying the calipers are a pair of handed two piece discs featuring rotors CNC machined from slices of the finest quality European steel billet. These rotors are heat treated, faced, then hand finished, creating a perfectly flat braking surface. The bell of the disc is machined from the same high quality alloy as the calipers and is hard anodised for protection from the elements. Discs can be specified with the following facings:
- F2000 – long curved grooves
- Sport Japan – drilled and grooved
- C83 – short straight grooves
- D95 – drilled only (not recommended for road use)
- ZERO – plain braking surface
Pads
The kit is delivered with a set of pads pre-installed into the calipers to make fitting even easier. You may specify which of our pad compounds are supplied with your kit from the choices below:
Corsa: track compound suitable for street road (default)
Enduro: track & race use – not suitable for street use

Hoses
Supplied with the kit are a pair of braided brake hoses tailored specifically for your car and the TAROX calipers. A teflon coated inner hose is strengthened with a stainless steel braid and then wrapped in a PVC outer coating for protection from the elements.
…and finally
The kit is supplied with a pair of vehicle specific mounting brackets which are CNC machined from the same light weight billet alloy as the calipers and hats. The brackets are also hard anodized for protection and are accompanied by all of the necessary mounting hardware to allow easy fitment straight out of the box.

* Many modern vehicles with electronic parking brakes require specialist diagnostic tools to service the rear brakes. It is strongly recommended that this kit is installed by somewhere with access to the proper vehicle specific equipment to do so. Improper installation may result in system warning lights, fault codes, and/or a disabled parking brake system.

IN STOCK ITEMS
Orders are shipped via USPS or FedEx when shipped from existing US based inventory locations. We aim for same day or next day dispatch, and given this, depending on your exact time of order, and location, we ask that customers allow up to 5 working days for delivery.
If there should be a problem with your order/shipping and it seems likely your order will take longer than 5 days, then we will inform you by email or phone. Deliveries may require a signature so if possible please give a delivery address where the order can be signed for during working hours.
NON-STOCK & MTO ITEMS
Due to our vast catalog it will often be necessary to ship your special order items from TAROX Italy (via TNT, delivered by FedEx) or from TAROX UK. Items shipped from Italian or UK inventory typically take 5 to 10 working days to be delivered. On occasion, there may be zero inventory of an item at any of our international locations. If this should be the case then we will inform you by email/phone as soon as we find out.
Brake kits and Bespoke rotors are always manufactured to order (MTO). We kindly ask that you allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery.
CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTY
All orders shipping from International stock locations are intended to be delivered duty paid, i.e. you should not have to pay any import costs of any kind to either FedEx or CBP. Unfortunately, due to the number of agencies involved, on occasion you may be sent an invoice for customs charges. Please do NOT pay this and request a refund for these charges, we will not be able to refund you, merely issue a future credit note to that value. We must insist that you forward the incorrect paperwork to us, and we will take care of of the invoice ourselves.
